lab.jpg Global BioSciences recently conducted a soil gas survey for Louis Berger Associates in Providence, Rhode Island using its mobile laboratory. The lab is equipped with an SRI 8610C GC with PID/FID/DELCD detectors. Capabilities include field analysis for chlorinated solvents and BTEX/gasoline constituents. Using a gasoline generator, the lab can be mobilized to remote field locations with a continuous power source for a full, uninterrupted day of instant analyses of up to 30 soil, soil gas and groundwater samples.

  GBI Government Relations Advocate Attends NCBM Annual Convention

GBI Government Relations Advocate, John Tyson of Peyser Associates, Washington D.C., attended the National Conference of Black Mayors Annual Convention in Savannah, Georgia in March to promote the use of Butane Biostimulation Technologies for Brownfields Redevelopment. Brownfields are an issue in nearly every congressional district, in all size communities across the country, from gas stations and manufacturing plants to old mines. Mayors are on the front lines dealing with citizens worried about contamination and real estate developers eager to restore properties. GBI has the low cost solution for mayors to recycle land and gain important environmental and economic benefits for their cities.
